Yoncé-A-Day is a project I performed throughout January 2014; I lip-synched one Beyoncé song every day for 31 days. Bey's discography covers a vocal range as vast as the emotional landscape she performs. As a drag artist, I believe lip-synching is spell-casting and this practice of performance became essential to the everyday care of my #selfie. Going above and Beyoncé to get me bodied, I learned the most valuable lesson: my #selfie is everything I need and more, for the Yoncé in me is the Yoncé in you.
